Art in Bloom is held at the Singletary Center on the University of Kentucky campus. The 3 day event starts on Friday and ends on Sunday. The Art Museum inside the Singletary Center is open each of the 3 days from 12-5pm to the public. When the clock strikes 5, the art comes alive with a formal black tie dinner on Friday night and music filled cocktail party on Saturday night.
The backdrop that we created was blooming with color. Everyone was encouraged to snap a photo and tag the Art in Bloom social media accounts.
These fabulous pieces were designed by fashion designer Maui Crane.
Maui’s designs were inspired by the Signature Artist’s artwork.
Look! On Saturday night, live models walked the crowd in the dresses! Deanna snapped a photo with the fashion designer Maui Crane and his muse during the cocktail party!
Dinner began with a welcome from Elizabeth Shatner, 2014 Signature Artist.
When it comes to art and event planning, details are a must. Each dinner table was accented in a different color by the spot lights at the top of the stage. These lights would change color every few minutes.
The registration and check out table was worked by the Great Expectations team.
