August 29 ~ The Carrick House
Color! I loved working on this wedding. Both the bride and the groom LOVE flowers so they were happy to experiment with color and lots of different kinds of flowers.
This was fun (above). The flower girl needed a kissing ball made of silk flowers (could you tell at first glance?) that would match what the bridesmaids were carrying. They were concerned she would destroy it if it were real. Don’t you love tomboys?
These are picasso calla lilies….one of my favorites! I love that they are different from the usual callas you see.
For reception flowers, the only rule was to stay in the purple – fuchsia color palette. So we did lots of different styles.
The petite roses at the bottom of the container were a surprise for those who cared to take a closer look.
