Custom chuppah we created from white birch branches, flowers and a family shawl.
Getting ready for the ceremony....linen covered hay bales, loads of flowers, parasols grace the ceremony site.
A sweet trio of flowers graced some tables in the reception tent.
Horseshoes were used as table numbers. Rustic crates were used as containers.
Beautiful country china graced the tables. The family had custom table runners made in the brides favorite fabrics.
The bridal table offered a sweet surprise.
Tables consisted of a mixture of rounds and squares to maximize space.
A vintage sign was a focal point behind the bar.
Place cards were strung on the side of the barn.
The buffet piece at the Woodford Reserve rehearsal dinner.
Each guest table had a different monochromatic look, one focal flower echoing from the buffet piece.
The bottom of each contained a surprise for seated guests too.

Submerged pieces greeted guests as they walked outside.
Patio tables were graced with a few more monochromatic flowers for color.
Every flower featured inside made an appearance outside too.
Large arrangements on silver urns demanded attention in this huge room at the Keeneland Entertainment Center.
Medium arrangements consisted of floral spheres atop silver hammered stands.
Short arrangements included a silver hurricane surrounded by 3 silver julep cups, filled with romantic flowers.

The attached Keene Barn was used for the cocktail hour, featured a more whimsical style using the families' silver containers.

Bunting hung along the ceiling edges and featured pink uplights.
Pink pintuck overlays were gathered in a rosette design over grey satin floorlength linens.
The bride's bouquet with monogram handkerchief. The bridesmaids were wrapped with their individual monograms on antique handkerchiefs as keepsakes.

Ashley + Micah 7.23.11 ~ Southern Hills Methodist Church & Griffin Gate Marriott Resort
Raspberry pintuck linens with purple napkins brightened the room. Silver chargers and menu cards added a touch of elegance before the silver and china were put down.
We had a wonderful time creating just the perfect wedding for Ashley and Micah. Ashley is the second daughter of this family that we have helped to plan for! Some might think it is easier the second time within the same family. However, each bride has her own vision so its important to start fresh and unique, just like our couples.
Ashley gave us ideas of what she wanted but allowed us the creative freedom to make suggestions and fine-tune ideas for her since she lives out of town. We were so pleased to help her make her and Micah’s dream summer wedding come true.
My favorite part of their wedding: no one left early and everyone stayed on the dance floor all night long (even Grandma!). What a great crowd!

Summer bouquets of green and pink hydrangeas, purple stock, dahlias and roses set atop glass cylinders, brought even more color to the room.
Short centerpieces are alternated throughout the room. The dahlias were show-stoppers!
The ceremony was held at Southern Hills United Methodist Church. They have a huge ledge that we loaded with more summer flowers and candles.
