First Presbyterian Church on Mill Street is the perfect historic church for an intimate evening ceremony.

Their wedding party was gorgeous too! The girls dolled up in dresses from Twirl Boutique and flowers abundant from PG Howard Designs.

The Carrick House was all aglow and looked so beautiful! This was the perfect venue for their modern meets southern charm reception!

My favorite look was the wedding party's table. Simply gorgeous and functional for intimate conversation.

After a cocktail reception in the historic house, guests found their personal escort cards to be directed to the appropriate table....then....

Once they found their table, their place setting included a personalized menu made just for them (click to enlarge the detail)! Its this extra attention that make your guest appreciate all your efforts.

Guests were passed Ale 8 One and Mint Juleps.

The bride had fabulous accessories! The shoes were a gift from one of her close friends...A-MAZ-ING!

The bride's dad painstakingly prepared bourbon barrel heads for guests to sign in lieu of a guest book. These will be used in the couples home for future entertaining/decor.

On a break from dancing to the Jimmy Church band, guests could sip a little bourbon on the patio, try a cigar or snuggle by the fire. What a great night!

Bridesmaids wore plum colored dresses, so we chose bright hues for bouquets to really stand out in pictures.

The reception included more colorful flowers.

We used differing heights of centerpieces because the room was so huge and tall. These gerbers in glass cylinders were the bride's favorite.

Bundles of alstromeria lilies were left tall and tied up with ribbon.

Full purple hydrangea with green aspidistra leaf at the bottom of the vase.

Willow with hanging blooms was used to further add height to the room.

This picture shows how the different height centerpieces really helped the "look" in the room. That combined with bright linen choices and some colored lighting in the room, really helped pull this reception for 300 guests together.

Having fun with the bridal bouquet toss - who will be next to be married?Enjoying the Lexington nightscape atop the Carrick House roofdeck. Love this fun feature of this top-notch venue.

Summer bouquets of green and pink hydrangeas, purple stock, dahlias and roses set atop glass cylinders, brought even more color to the room.

Short centerpieces are alternated throughout the room. The dahlias were show-stoppers!

The ceremony was held at Southern Hills United Methodist Church. They have a huge ledge that we loaded with more summer flowers and candles.

The brides bouquet included hydrangea, roses, disbuds, button mums, hypericum berries, lily grass.

Fasig Tipton hosted 220 of the couples' family and friends.

With such a high ceiling in this venue, we did tall, medium and short centerpieces to keep the guests' eyes moving around the room.

Tall centerpieces included curly willow, gladiolous and belles of ireland.

Short centerpieces included belles of ireland sections, button ums, roses and hypericum berries.

Medium arrangements were either all white gladiolous or all green belles of ireland.
