This wedding was a labor of love. I so enjoyed working with this fun couple. She is from St. Louis, with a Filipino heritage. He is from Georgia, with a deep-south heritage. We started in December and have worked feverishly to get every detail, every personal touch, just perfect. What a day it was!
The Carrick House was the perfect location as she wanted to have her reception in a grand old house with plenty of room for dancing. Excellent choice! As always, Lundy’s Special Events did an outstanding job with the food and service. The rock every single time! No exceptions.

We feel in love with the WOW factor of these linens…

added clover green satin napkins for a pop of color and formal silver charger plates with monogram cover featuring their dinner menu…

The mother of the bride’s favorite flower was the orchid. So we were sure to add cymbidium orchids, and James Storie spray orchids.
All floral and decor design were planned by our staff at Great Expectations.

Dinner conversation was interesting as you walked through the room. You heard thick filipino tagolog being spoken, as well as a deep southern Georgia-draw from his family. Thrilling to see two families come together.
The beautiful amaretto-filled cake was designed and made by Tinkers Cake Shop.

The ceremony was at St. Peter Catholic Church in downtown Lexington. We loved working with Father Chris Clay! A Filipino traditional coin ceremony was held during the mass (for her family) and the bride wore a sixpence in her shoe from her groom!
