The ceremony at the arbor at Talon Winery.

The wine ceremony was a unique touch. The bride wrote a letter to the groom, and the groom wrote a letter to the bride. Both reveal what they are feeling that day and why the are getting married. The box is sealed with a nice bottle of wine inside. The couple will open this on their 10th anniversary….or if trouble arises on their journey, the couple will open the bottle, drink the wine and re-read their letters as to why they got married in the first place. Four nails are used to hammer the box closed, one for each set of parents, one for the bride and one for the groom.
