I love pink
I love doing flowers for weddings but I have to admit my favorite color to work with is Pink. I get a sudden urge to smile when a potential new client tells me her colors include pink. Any shade will do: hot pink, bubble gum pink, salmon, classic pink….any pink will do. It automatically takes my mind to a scene from one of my favorite movies, where Julia Roberts in “Steel Magnolias” describes her wedding colors as ….”two distinct shades of pink….blush and bashful…are my colors”.
Here is the shade of pink chosen by a May bride of mine. I love the way the Ravel Pink roses (pronounced “ra-vel”) stand out in the shades of the antique green hydrangeas. Simply beautiful!
