Thoroughbred Center 9.6.08

Amy wanted fall colors for her September 6th wedding.  We poured over magazines one afternoon in Starbucks and had a great time fine-tuning the combination of exactly what everything would look like. Her bouquet was amazing with 4 different kind of roses, freesia, green hydrangea and hypericum berries.

Her maid of honor carried a petite rose bouquet of the same 4 kinds of roses. (bottom right in photo)

The Black Magic red rose was the cornerstone of Amy’s flower choice.  It is a wonderfully deep red.  It works great with red hypericum berries, ivory spray roses and myrtle.  This was her cake topper.

Silver julep cups held 14 roses of assorted fall colors for Amy’s table centerpieces.   What a wonderful fall combination.

I remember the first time I saw the fireplace at the Thoroughbred Center.  The 16′ mantle held my attention.  I promised myself, someday I would decorate that.  Amy was equally impressed with the mantle and we worked a plan together.  These pictures do not do it justice.  I hope to post some professional photos later from her photograhper to share its actual beauty.
